Anthro Corporation, Technology Furniture®, the Portland, Oregon manufacturer of modular furniture for technology, introduces the Slim Tablet Charging Cabinet.  A member of Anthro’s award-winning family of Charging Carts and Cabinets, the Slim Tablet Charging Cabinet charges and stores up to 12 tablets, smart phones and hand-held devices.

Just 4” deep, Anthro’s ultra slim cabinet is the first tablet solution designed specifically for healthcare.  The narrow profile is perfect for hospitals and clinics where space is at a premium.  Constructed of easy-clean surfaces that meet anti-infection protocols, the wall-mounted cabinet saves valuable floor space.

A programmable numeric combination lock keeps devices and data secure within Anthro’s Slim Tablet Charging Cabinet. The keypad records up to three security codes for multiple users and to track usage.

Available in regular (6- or 9-unit) and large (9- or 12-unit) models, the Slim Tablet Charging Cabinet supports mobile devices that store in either a landscape or portrait configuration.  Roomy bays, made with materials to protect device surfaces, accommodate a variety of tablets, smart phones and hand-held devices, including their cases.  The ventilated door keeps air moving throughout the enclosure so devices stay cool.

Cabinets are equipped with a cable management system that keeps cords tidy and secure.  Devices dock quickly with power connections positioned at the front of each bay.  Clips located along the ABS polymer bay dividers route cables to the internal power panel that is located along the inside of the cabinet.  Connect the cabinet to a wall outlet with a 10-foot power cord (included) in order to charge devices.  Or wire a power connection behind the unit and access it through a notch in the cabinet’s back panel.

Anthro’s Tablet Charging Cabinets ship assembled with instructions and hardware to mount to studs and drywall.  The cabinet has a Lifetime Warranty with a 2 year warranty on electrical components.  The cord and plug are not under warranty.

Anthro Corp was founded in 1984.  Anthro provides furniture for technology for the engineering, business, healthcare, government, education, and home markets.
