We’ve all been there. But don’t give up yet! Try this instead: Plug in your headphones and play your favorite upbeat jam. That’ll get you moving– if not on the outside (we’ll leave that decision up to you), then certainly on the inside!
Here are some of our favorite pick-me-up tunes:
Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
Drop and give me 10! But really, doesn’t it feel like you should be running in place while listening to this song? It may be cheesy, but it’ll get you pumped up.
Daft Punk – Get Lucky
The song of the summer is guaranteed to get you moving. Snapping your fingers and tapping your toes are both highly recommended.
Aretha Franklin – Respect
We take no responsibility for all the snapping and finger wagging you’ll do while listening to this beloved ballad. Aretha’s passionate pipes will inspire you to power through and get your work done.
Led Zeppelin – Immigrant Song
It’s the beginning scream in this classic song that really gets us moving. Also, the drumming beat. Be careful not to head butt your computer if you get really into it.
James Brown – I Got You (I Feel Good)
We recommend saving this gem for your last hour of work. You’re almost done with the day! It’s time to start feeling good; James Brown to the rescue!
Good news! We’re giving away two Elevate IIs to celebrate our birthday!
Which songs help you get through a lethargic afternoon? Tell us in the comments!
It’s 2 pm. You just ate lunch, and now an afternoon lull has taken control of your body. You pour another cup of coffee and half-heartedly will yourself to snap out of it. There’s work to be done! Things to be accomplished! Really, you just want to stare at the clock and zone out.
