Human Resource Generalist
The Human Resources team does more than perform the regular HR activities. We cultivate and promote the essence of Anthro. This spirit is personified in our employees and our commitment to exceed every customer’s expectations.
We need an experienced Human Resource Generalist who is passionate about the vital role HR plays for both the employee and company. This person joins a small two-person department that begins each day with a grin. The “to do” list is long but the atmosphere is relaxed. And did we mention that you will enjoy using a fabulous workstation while you tackle that “to do” list?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Partners with the Human Resource Manager and Executive Team to communicate HR standards, procedures and government regulations.
- Participates in developing Human Resource department goals and objectives.
- Assists in the evaluation of reports, decisions and results of the department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the HR department.
- Supports the hiring process by placing employment ads, reviewing resumes, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, checking references, coordinating applicant testing and completing new hire paperwork.
- Maintains weekly reporting structure to track overall hiring process, applicant status and temporary staffing needs.
- Coordinates quarterly New Employee Orientation (NEO) sessions.
- Supports the employee termination process including preparing COBRA paperwork, canceling insurance coverage, etc.
- Maintains employee personnel, medical and training files.
- Updates and maintains the Human Resources and employee profile section of the Anthro Intranet.
- Coordinates the bi-annual team review process.
- Updates and maintains employee handouts and handbooks.
- Supports the HR Manager in benefit administration (conducting monthly benefit orientation meetings, processing health insurance enrollments/changes monthly, acting as employee liaison to trouble-shoot issues, etc.)
- Assists HR Manager in coordinating Anthro’s annual social events.
- Creates and publishes monthly company meeting notes.
- Compiles data for EEO-1 and VETS 100 and files report annually.
- Maintains company organization charts.
- Updates HR bulletin boards with announcements and legal postings.
Knowledge and Skills
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, polished public-speaking skills, proficient keyboarding skills, intermediate level of experience with MS Office.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.

Key Account Representative
Key Account Representatives focus on territory sales by making outbound calls to
develop and maintain established customer relationships with key decision makers.
With the Territory Manager’s guidance, a Key Account Representative executes a strategy
to generate new business, including researching and understanding market trends
and competitors. Other duties include following up on requests for information,
quotes and orders for additional revenue.
Partnering with Inside Sales personnel, Key Account Representatives resolve customer
issues, research and make recommendations for potential product modifications to
increase sales. They also assist with any purchase order challenges and order entry
duties when needed. Approximately 15% of the time will include overnight travel
to tradeshows and customer visits throughout the United States.
Successful Key Account Representatives may be promoted to Territory Manager positions.
Requirements
- Four year degree
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience generating new customers
- Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commitment to customer service
- High level of motivation coupled with the ability to set priorities
Training Program
Our onsite training program includes both product and software instruction. The
initial training course typically lasts 4-6 weeks. Afterwards, Key Account Representatives
continue their practical training by joining the Customer Service team in answering
inbound phone calls for a few months. In addition to helping customers on the phone,
the Key Account Representative also interact with customers via email and Live Chat.
Compensation
This position is paid hourly, earning a starting wage of $30,000 per year with a

Product Design Engineer
Join our Design & Engineering Team and push the envelope of technology furniture. A Product Design Engineer uses their imagination and creativity to create products which are both aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound. Curious by nature, the designers can often be found in our state-of-the-art onsite manufacturing facility assembling prototypes and pushing the capabilities of our machinery. We need people who are problem-solvers, enjoy tinkering and are willing to “rock the boat” when it comes to innovative product designs.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 year degree required, ME preferred.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience with a solid knowledge base of materials (metal, wood, etc.) and new material sourcing
- Experience working with product development teams taking products from concept stage through production introduction
- Excellent mechanical design skills, motion control and stress analysis, electro mechanical integration experience
- Experience with mold design including extrusion, injection molded plastic, die cast and sand cast
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, welding specifications, component strength requirements and FEA
- Autodesk Inventor experience preferred. Solidworks or other 3D parametric modeling experience is transferable

- Develop a comprehensive SEM strategy that builds Anthro’s online presence using

- Develop short-term and long-term SEM strategy goals for B to B/B to C.

be someone who is goal-oriented, organized and able to record and track changes,

working in an “approval” based system. Our SEO Specialist will be involved in a
full circle of SEO deliverables including research, reporting and implementation.
This individual is responsible for site optimization as well as all facets of Organic
and PPC day-to-day management including keyword research and generation; ad copy-writing/testing;
bid management, search budgets and forecast tracking.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Full site and competitive audits to target opportunities with ongoing site analysis
and reporting.
- Ad words reporting such as keyword performance, CTR, ad quality, campaign performance
and spend analysis. Must be able to analyze data, communicate “proposed next steps”
to managers and execute accordingly. (Google Adwords/Bing/Yahoo)
