AnthroBench
AnthroBench comes with one shelf, legs with integrated cable management, two base tubes and cross tubes, and four screw-in glides. James has plenty of space to spread out with his computer equipment off the worksurface, plus an upper shelf and a drawer below. Add an optional CPU Siderack and Shelf-Equipment Base to a basic AnthroBench to keep peripherals secure and within reach. Take it one step further and upgrade your AnthroBench with an Additional Small Shelf and 24” Leg Extensions. Built like a rock, Mike’s AnthroBench supports all of his test equipment – even up to 400 lbs! With multiple width and depth options, you can create the optimal work bench to fit your space and all of your equipment. Integrated cable management keeps cords organized at Kara’s stand-up test and measurement workstation. With 5”casters, Mike easily moves his 72”w AnthroBench wherever he needs it on the manufacturing shop floor.

Rock solid and built to last

Who says you have to choose between technical furniture that is functional or aesthetically pleasing? We believe you can have both. Truly the heavyweight champion, AnthroBench holds large equipment effortlessly. Ideal for labs, control rooms and manufacturing floors. Add shelves above for even more equipment. This sturdy work bench holds 300 lbs with casters or 400 lbs in stationary accessories!

  • Robust

With 1.5” thick shelves, 16 gauge steel legs, and 2.5” base tubes, the AnthroBench is built like a rock! The stationary Standard Bench comes with glides and holds 400 lbs. Or make your bench mobile with 5” casters and carry 300 lbs. of equipment.

    Cable Management

Integrated cable management makes cord organization a cinch. Route cords through the cable channels inside the hollow legs and conceal them with side covers. Feed your cables into the legs through the grommets conveniently positioned in six places on the leg interiors. Support pans along the back also route cables.

    Extra Details

The smooth, rounded bull-nose edge on the front surface is both elegant and ergonomic. Your forearms can relax comfortably without an annoying square edge to bite them.

    Multiple Sizes

This was our server room in 2004 - we really loaded up that AnthroBench! With three width choices (48”, 60”, 72”) and two depth options (28” and 36”), create the ideal work bench to fit your equipment and any room size. Shelves adjust at 1” increments for additional storage capability. Add Leg Extensions for more height.

    Make it mobile

The AnthroBench comes with glides, but if you need a mobile workstation or want to get to the back of your equipment, upgrade to 5” rubber casters.

    All the Details

    • The very strong AnthroBench is built like a tank to support 400 lbs in stationary applications, 300 lbs in mobile applications.
    • Integrated cable management organizes and protects cords and cables all along the bench. Weave cords through openings on the support pan of each shelf, and then down channels in the legs.
    • Choose the size that fits your space and your equipment. AnthroBench is available in three widths (48", 60", and 72"), two depths (28" and 36"), and two heights (29" and 35").
    • Make your AnthroBench mobile with optional 5"casters (sold separately). The single-wheel casters have soft rubber thread that moves smoothly over rough surfaces. Comes in set of 4 (two locking and two non-locking).
    • The rounded bull-nose edge at the front of the AnthroBench worksurface is curved to be comfortable against your arms when working.
    • AnthroBench comes with a single worksurface. Outfit your AnthroBench with additional shelves, legs extensions for added height, and storage options to hold everything.
    • Choose from our complete line-up of dozens of accessories to customize your bench.
    • Install shelves at any height in 1" increments to put your equipment at a comfortable working position. Reposition shelves over time as equipment and needs change.
    • Available in choice of colors: Black (BK) or Silver Metallic (SM) metal; Black (BK) or Light Grey (LG) laminate.
    • AnthroBench comes with one shelf, two vertical legs with integrated cable management, two base tubes (2.5" diameter), two cross tubes (1.75" diameter), and four threaded leveling glides.
    • Shelves are made from 1.5" thick, 45 lb industrial-grade particle board with high-pressure, scratch-resistant laminate. Front edges feature rounded bull-nose finish for comfort. Vinyl contour edge banding on the sides and back matches the laminate.
    • Legs are hollow so you can route your cables inside. Tubes are 16-gauge steel. All metal surfaces receive a durable baked-on powder-coat finish.
    • Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects.

    • I love my AnthroBench and printer stand which I use as extra surface for books, papers, and etc. What I like most is the modular design and minimalist approach to a desk. That way, it won't take 3 gorillas and a boy to move the desk when it comes time to do so. Also the quality of the drawers is excellent, coupled with the option to mount them anywhere you want is a big plus.

      Dan Zarling

    • Our engineers loved the two Anthro Benches from the standpoint of them being well built and open to run panduit underneath and to run cabling in the open legs on the benches. Makes it very easy to service! We had been looking at some traditional cabinet work that would have cost nearly three times as much as the Anthro and it would not have been as easy to work with or looked as good in our studios. Thanks again to all for your help in selecting and ordering the desks.

      Don Connelly

    • Our son will miss his huge AnthroBench and all of the media equipment it holds when he leaves for college next month. We're counting on it luring him home!

      Sally Warner Arnett

    • We attached KVMs to our Anthro Benches so we could load PCs and servers before they go out to our other locations. The carts are strong and mobile and I expect them to last a long time (and they look good too)!

      Tom Allen
