Anthro Corporation, Technology Furniture, the Portland Oregon manufacturer of modular furniture for technology, announces a new laptop storage cart family. The family consists of models designed to securely store, transport and charge 10, 20, or 30 notebook computers.
All of the mobile computer laptop carts are constructed out of steel with a baked on powder coated finish. Notebooks are conveniently accessed from the front of each cart behind secure lockable doors and stored in individual bays. Bay shelves are easily removable to allow configurability of the storage space by creating larger bays for storage of other equipment.
Notebook power bricks and cords are organized and secured in a compartment separate from the notebooks behind lockable doors. A dedicated recessed pocket on the back of the cart keeps the main power cord tidy. External outlets power peripheral equipment such as printers or projectors when the cart is used as a teaching or work station. Cables from peripheral equipment can be routed to the outlets safely through a grommet located on the top of each unit. Two handles provided allow easy steering and heavy-duty, 5" locking rubber casters provide the carts with excellent mobility.
Each laptop charging cabinet is warranted for a lifetime for the cabinet, one year for the electrical system. The power cord is not warranted.
