Anthro Introduces Steve’s Station Essential, the Essential Desk for Radiology
Anthro Corporation, Technology Furniture®, the Portland, Oregon manufacturer of radiology stand up desks, introduces the newest member of its award-winning Steve’s Station® family. The Steve’s Station Essential
model earns its name by giving imaging professionals the essential features they need, at a very competitive price point.
More than just an elegant radiology standing desk, Steve’s Station Essential includes Anthro’s Monitor Easy Track™. Radiologists can slide an entire bank of (up to six) displays forward and backward 10” in unison with fingertip ease. Each monitor’s position can be fine-tuned – vertical, lateral, and “yaw” (side-to-side tilt) – to align and angle them seamlessly into one perfect arc.
This dual-surface desk also wrap around the user for a “cockpit” look and feel. At 60” or 72” wide, this table has space to hold all of a radiologist’s equipment, up to a hefty 200 lbs. The 60” w desk is perfect for a 2+1 monitor configuration and the 72”w desk comfortably supports a 4+1 configuration.
It ergonomically fits every body, from the 5th percentile seated woman to 95th percentile standing male. Strong electric legs adjust the height of the rear monitor surface, quickly and quietly, from 28” to 47” high. The keyboard surface manually adjusts from 5.75” below to 7” above the rear monitor surface for a total keyboard height range of 22.25”- 54”. The front keyboard surface also tilts to ease pressure on arms, shoulders, neck and back.
Cable management is no hassle with Steve’s Station Essential’s generous cable trough; it measures 43.5”w, 8.75”d x 8.5”h to hold a bulky mass of cords and cables. Add a Power Bar (sold separately) to send a single power cord to the wall.
Steve’s Station Essential radiology desks start at $4,599 MSRP and are backed by a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects on the frame; five-year warranty on legs and electrical system. Lamps, cords, and plugs are not warranted. Available in Grey Metallic metal with Silver Satin accent, and choice of Dark Grey or Wenge laminate, for an elegant finish. International versions of this product are also available.
Steve’s Station Essential is available January 2015 and will be shown for the first time at RSNA, November 30 to December 5, 2014 in Chicago, IL (Booth #6535).
